Bread pakoda

 
 
 
 
This is a a very common  breakfast in north india. Its very filling as it has carbohydrates and also deep oil fried.
 
 
Ingredients (4 serving)
 Bread slices - 8 nos.
Gram flour (Besan) -200 g
Boiled & smashed pototo- 2
salt - to taste
chilli powder- 1 tablespoon
Baking powder- 1/4 teaspoon
  
Boil potato, smash it smoothly  using back side of a spoon along with  1 teaspoon plain chilli powder and adjust salt.
To the besan add  1 /2 table spoon chilli powder, baking powder, salt and right amount of water to make a thick batter.
 
 
 
  Cut bread slices diagonally and sandwich the smashed potato b'w 2 slices.
 
 
  Dip this sandwich into the batter and take it out immediately and just Deep oil fry.
 
 
 

Serve hot  with sauce or mint chutney
